Large ginkgo observation deck (Rice Terraces of Sennin)

The name Sennin’s rice terrace originates from the majestic view which “looks like it is floating in the sky and home to Sennin (Mythical beings of Japan)”.

The terrace is a true Japanese sight to behold, with a sea of clouds covering it in the mornings and rice plants glowing golden in the autumn sun. The story of how the locals got together to create the waterways when slash and burn farming was their main form of income is also an interesting point.
