Aya Biosphere Reserves

The lifestyle in Aya town which aims to pass on the blessings of nature to the next generation, by protecting the abundant ecosystem and vast variety of species found here has been recognized worldwide.

The evergreen broadleaf forest preserved here is the biggest of its kind in Japan and can be enjoyed from a huge drawbridge stretching across the valley which measures 142 meters at its highest point.

A location you can enjoy not only forest therapy but please your taste buds with a market selling local organic vegetables.
