Saitobaru Burial Mounds(cherry blossoms at night)

This ancient site, surrounded by nature, is home to 323 ancient burial mounds. It is said that these mounds were made around 1,700 years ago during the Kofun-era of Japan. It was designated as a National Special Historic Site by the Japanese government in 1952. In spring, you can enjoy over 2,000 cherry blossom trees and a field full of rapeseed flowers. In summer, you can appreciate sun flowers, and in autumn, you can enjoy cosmos flowers in a variety of colors.

Be sure to venture inside the mystifying “Devil’s Cave,” mound #206, if you have time.
