Sano-jinja Shrine
A shrine in Takaharu-cho where you can feel the history of Japan. It was founded in the birthplace of Emperor Jinmu, the first Emperor of Japan.
It is said that the approach to Sano Shrine is the longest in Japan, and cedar is planted along the approach road, which is very beautiful and harsh atmosphere.
In December you can also appreciate Sano Kagura which is designated as important intangible folk cultural property of the country.
