Kiraku Obi is a Japanese inn consisting of two buildings, Katsume House and Goya House.
These traditional Japanese houses have undergone a full renovation to be reborn as luxury lodgings.

Katsume House is a samurai-style residence surrounded by stone walls with a traditional stone gate that welcomes you into the site.
This home is famous for its “Karesansui” garden which has been designated as a “place of scenic beauty” by Miyazaki Prefecture.
From the plush lounge chairs of the veranda, guests can appreciate their very own Karesansui garden which was created in the 18th century,

Goya House is a renovated tenement house of an intermediate vassal.
Its history can be traced back to the Edo period.
This House features a modern kitchen that coexists with a traditional Japanese “Okudosan” furnace, whose hearth that retains the texture of its time. Guests can feel the culture and atmosphere unique to Castle Town Obi throughout each spacious and comfortable room.

The town of Obi is well-known for its atmosphere, history, and local cuisine such as charcoal-grilled Miyazaki chicken and Obi-made shochu.
Unique to this town, visitors can experience the traditional martial art of “Shimanto” archery and visit the nearby Udo Shrine.
