This hostel and spa is located right in front of “Aoshima,” a famous sightseeing spot in Miyazaki Prefecture! It features a natural hot spring and restaurants so you can enjoy healing and food in this new age hostel. Using Obi Cedar from Miyazaki, the architecture allows to you feel the warmth and comfort of wood. There are two types of rooms: “Private” rooms, for those who like more privacy, and “Domitory,” a shared room where you can interact with fellow travellers.
All room have Obi Cedar bunk beds with custom-made stairs and feature colorful walls to give a tropical atmosphere. There are three restaurants: Japanese, Italian, and an Oyster Hut. You can enjoy fresh seafood from Aoshima like “Umi sachihiko Shrimp” (Haliporoides sibogae) , which is the local specialty procured from young fishermen in Aoshima. The hot spring is a natural alkaline spring which has a great reputation for rejuvenating your skin. Also enjoy the striking wall painting of Mount. Fuji while you soak in this relaxing bath.
Aoshima Fisherman’s Beachside Hostel and Spa is located within a 10 minute drive from Miyazaki General Sports Park which is the main sports facility in Miyazaki Prefecture and many people stay here during sports tournaments and training camps.
